Anna Panayiotou
Anna Panayiotou is the founder and managing partner of A. Panayiotou LLC. She is admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association and specialises in Cyprus company law and international corporate structures. Her particular expertise includes the formation and administration of Private Limited Companies, holding structures and Companies Limited by Guarantee (LBG) structured as Cyprus family foundations. Anna advises international clients – particularly from the German-speaking region – on tax-optimised structuring of their business activities through Cyprus, including the IP Box regime, participation exemption and Non-Dom planning. She also has extensive experience in the design and registration of Cyprus International Trusts, the establishment of European legal forms (EEIG, SE) and advising on cross-border mergers and re-domiciliation to Cyprus. Anna is a member of the international CMC network and maintains close relationships with tax advisors, auditors and banks in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Maria Kazamia
Maria Kazamia is admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association and specialises in Cyprus property law. She advises and represents buyers, sellers and investors on all aspects of real estate transactions in Cyprus. Her practice covers full due diligence for property acquisitions – from title searches at the Department of Lands and Surveys and verification of encumbrances, mortgages and charges to analysis of building permits and zoning regulations. Maria guides her clients through the entire purchase process: contract drafting, negotiation of purchase terms, deposit of the sale agreement (Specific Performance), application for transfer fee exemptions and transfer of title deeds. She also advises on structuring real estate investments (directly or through companies), tenancy law issues, and disputes relating to developers and missing title deeds (Trapped Buyers). Maria works closely with tax advisors to optimise the tax aspects of property transactions (VAT, transfer fees, capital gains tax).
Xenia Nekhotsa
Xenia Nekhotsa supports the team at A. Panayiotou LLC as Legal Administrator. She is responsible for the organisational and administrative coordination of the firm and serves as the liaison between clients and the lawyers. Her responsibilities include the preparation and compilation of documents for company formations, property transactions and residence permit applications, communication with the Registrar of Companies, the Department of Lands and Surveys and the Civil Registry and Migration Department, scheduling and deadline management, and support with ongoing compliance and Annual Return filings. Xenia has experience in managing international client relationships and communicates fluently in English and Russian.
Florian Wilk
Florian Wilk advises A. Panayiotou LLC and its clients as an external Advisor on matters of international tax planning and cross-border corporate structuring. As a German entrepreneur with many years of experience in building and managing international holding structures, IP companies and family foundations in Cyprus, he brings a deep understanding of the practical challenges and opportunities that German-speaking clients face when relocating their business activities to Cyprus. Florian supports the firm particularly in the design of tax-optimised structures taking into account German foreign tax legislation (AStG), double tax agreements and EU compliance requirements. He is a member of the CMC network and has an extensive network of tax advisors, auditors and financial service providers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other jurisdictions.
